CAROLINE WEGER (nee KRENTZ) Peacefully after a short illness, Caroline (mom) passed away at the age of 79. She will be sadly missed by her children, Charles (Krentz) Dan (Denise) and youngest son David. Grandson Dustin. Caroline was predeceased by her parents, Andrew (1977) and Maria in 1966. Caroline was born in Winnipeg October 13, 1923 along with her twin brother Charles. She was the youngest of 10 children. Caroline spent most of her life as a homemaker. Mom will be remembered for her patience and understanding. She gave of herself unconditionally and was always there to help her children and friends including people she met for the first time. She had a real passion for life. One of her favourite things she looked forward to every week was getting together with all of her friends at the Adult care program at the Fred Douglas Lodge. While there, one of her favourite things to do there was play shuffleboard. She always talked about how she did and how much she enjoyed it. Didnt matter how she played, she enjoyed the companionship that came from the people around her. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses on the 5th floor-unit-2 at Seven Oaks Hospital for making Moms remaining days as comfortable as possible. A celebration of Carolines life will be held on Monday, August 11, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens with a gathering of family and friends to follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society. We love you mom, may you rest in peace.
