ANNE WEST (nee WUEST) July 14, 1924 - August 6, 2003 With sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Anne West, on Wednesday, August 6, 2003, at the Riverview Healthcare Centre, at the age of 79 years. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Peggy and son-in-law Neil Ash; her grandchildren, Christopher and Stefanie; her brother Dieter Wuest; nieces, Inge Koch and family, Doris Liermann and family (Germany) and Rose Hamrlik (Strathmore, AB). Mom was born in Wiesbaden, Germany, and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1950. She enjoyed a full life and made many lifelong friends. She had a gentle and caring heart and always put the needs of others before her own. She will be missed and fondly remembered by many friends in Winnipeg and Penticton, BC. Our thanks for your friendship and acts of kindness throughout the years. We wish to express our thanks to Dr. K. Pickard for her care over the years and to the staff of Riverview Palliative Care (3E), especially Christine, Barb and Evelyn, for the loving care they provided to make Moms final days peaceful and comfortable. In accordance with Moms wishes, there will be no formal service. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Flowers are appreciated, as Mom loved flowers, or if you wish, donations may be made to the Lupus Society of Manitoba Inc., 105 - 386 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R6, or Riverview Healthcare Centre, One Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4.
