FLORO FRAN August 18, 1932 - August 7, 2003 It is with great sadness that the Fran family announces the passing of their beloved Floro, who died peacefully on August 7, 2003 at St. Boniface Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones. Floro leaves to cherish many memories, his wife of 37 years Florentina; his son Manny (Deane) daughter Karen (Jordan), son Gerry; daughter Gin (Al) his grandchildren, Dustin, Danica, Adrian; as well as numerous sisters, brother, nieces, nephews and friends. Floro enjoyed fishing, being at the cottage and working with his hands. Most of all, he valued the time he spent with his family, who treasured his sense of humour and gentle, loving nature. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the MICU staff at St. Boniface and the HSC Rehab (with special thanks to Gord and Mark) for their care and support for Mr. Fran. A viewing will be held on Friday, August 8 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with prayers beginning at 8:00 p.m. at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 9 at St. Emiles Church, 566 St. Annes Rd. Interment and reception to follow at Glen Lawn Funeral Home.
