MARTHA ISOBEL MORKEN (SANNESS) (NEE GRAWBERGER) Peacefully, on Thursday, August 7, 2003, Martha died at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 81 years. She will be lovingly remembered by daughters, Lillian Daly (Beed), Linda Erickson (Bill), Nora Miller-Blunt (Ed) sons, Dan Sanness (Susan) and Dean Morken; 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; sisters, Irene Dokken, Millie Berg (Sigford), Violet Flemond (Marcien) and Phyllis Warner; brother Clifford Grawberger and friend Aggie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Joyal Culleton (Betty). Martha was predeceased by her parents; her first husband Thomas Sanness; second husband Andrew Morken; daughter Marion Culleton; sisters, Mary and Jane; brothers, Tommy, Alf, George and Bob. Martha was born on June 25, 1922 in Piney, MB to Augusta and Isaac Grawberger. At Marthas request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the Piney Hall, Piney, MB. A private interment will take place at a later date. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons, Brian, Bruce and Mitchell Daly, Wayne and Jeremy Culleton and Daniel Sanness Jr. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Marthas memory may be made to the Badger Cemetery in Badger, MB, care of Bernice Grawberger, Piney, MB or a charity of ones choice.
