Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCORINNE DeLONG May 11, 1952 - August 7, 2003 It is with great sadness and sorrow that the family announces the passing of their beloved angel Corinne, who went to God peacefully and beautifully on Thursday, August 7, 2003 at the Victoria General Hospital. Corinne was predeceased by both sets of grandparents, and her cherished friend Pam Michaelis. She leaves to cherish her many memories, her loving husband of 21 years, Terry; her daughter Tina; son Ron (Michelle) daughter Stephanie; son Ryan; mother Glenda (Joe) father James (Sharon) parents-in-law, Glen and Violet; grandchildren, Jamie and Chelsea; sisters, Heather (Ted), Janice (Roch), Belinda (Steve), Karen (Rob) and brother Jim. Corinne also leaves to cherish numerous nieces, nephews, family, friends and her beloved dog Tazzy. During Corinnes heroic battle with cancer over the past few years, she continued to shine with laughter, love, kindness and compassion, never letting her illness bring her spirit down. When she was not busy working with her St. Vital Walmart family, she enjoyed spending special times with family and friends, talking, dancing, playing nickel slots, and spending time in her garden. She touched many lives during her journey through life and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. "To Those I Love and to Those Who Will Forever Love Me" A public viewing will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 10 at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). A celebration of her life will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 11 at the Trinity United Church, 933 Summerside Ave., with interment to follow at the Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens at approximately 3:00 p.m., and a reception following, at the church, approximately 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Corinnes memory towards the cure of cancer. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. 982-7550

Thinking about you lots lately mom. Your grandson River is out at the zoo with his mama and I’m here with the newest addition to the family, baby Leo! You would’ve loved them so much. They’re super cute little boys. Love you - Posted by: Ryan DeLong (Son) on: Nov 24, 2024

You’ve been gone for almost 20 years mom and it never gets easier without you here. At the moment, I am watching the same bedtime Kidsongs video with your 1 year old grandson, River, that you watched with me at bedtime when I was young. We love and miss you. I wish you got to meet River. Your picture is on our wall and he points to it sometimes when we’re dancing in the living room. See you again someday. Love your baby boy, Ryan - Posted by: Ryan DeLong (Son) on: Nov 24, 2022
