MURIEL JORDAN 1909 - 2003 Muriel passed away peacefully at the age of 93, in St. Josephs General Hospital, Comox, BC on August 7, 2003. Born Muriel Sagar in Blackburn, England on November 3, 1909. With her parents and brother migrated to Winnipeg, MB in 1912. She resided in, married, bore a son, worked as a housewife and served the public with several firms in Winnipeg until she moved to the Comox Valley in 1987. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Wes in 1980. Muriel is survived by her son Ted, her much loved daughter-in-law Joan; and many nieces and nephews, Joan (Kurt) Herzog, Rosemary (Bev) Best, Margaret (Neale) McCall, Judy Lewadny, Wayne (Marcella) Jordan, David (Carol) Jordan and Robert (Colleen) Jordan and all their children. At her request there will be no services. Muriel will be cremated and her ashes scattered as she prescribed. No flowers or cards please. Should you wish to acknowledge her passing, please make a contribution to a charity of your choice. Special thanks to the nursing staff on the third floor of St. Josephs. Your care, solicitude and patience are greatly appreciated by her family. These attitudes during her last days allowed her a peaceful passing. Thank you to her Dr. Ron Brown for his care and concern.
