SHIGEKAZU "BOB" NAKAMURA Peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2003, Bob Nakamura aged 67 passed away at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years Doris; sons, Troy and Cory (Kim Steinke) family dog Chuck; sisters, Betty, Jane (Babu) Ram, Mich (Norm) Pascal, Tokie McKay, Rose Alder; brother Harry (Kona) and many family members. He was predeceased by his parents, Jutaro and Nobuko Nakamura. Bob was born in New Westminster, BC and grew up in Raymond, AB. He was an electrician by trade, before teaching at Brandon and Sturgeon Creek for over 30 years. He always loved spending time with his family, the outdoors, playing cards and sports. Bob was often playing or coaching badminton, curling, soccer, bowling or golf. As much as he enjoyed playing, his greatest pleasure was teaching others to love sports. He will be missed for his great sense of humour and positive outlook. Special thanks to the great staff at the Dialysis Units in the St. Boniface and Seven Oaks Hospitals. Cremation and a private memorial service have been held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seven Oaks Hospital - Dialysis Unit.
