JOSEPH McKINNEY (HUMMINGBIRD MAN) 1913 - 2003 Joseph, son of John and Ida McKinney from Swan Lake, MB passed away peacefully in the Lorne Memorial Hospital, Swan Lake on Thursday, August 7, 2003. Joseph was born in Swan Lake on November 3, 1913. He is survived by his sons, Raymond (Isabel) McKinney, Ken (Judy) McKinney, Lawrence (Helen) McKinney; daughters, Sarah Scott, Joyce (Richard) Hobson, Rena (Lloyd) McKay, Sharon (Bill) Sinclair, Doreen Tukundum; and one brother George McKinney; sisters, Rosie Scott, Betty Daniels, and Emma McKinney; a special grandson Wesley Tukundum; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. He was predeceased by one son Gordon McKinney, parents, John and Ida McKinney, and six siblings. Traditional Funeral Wake was held on Friday, August 8 at 4:00 p.m. from the Swan Lake Reserve Community Hall, Swan Lake Reserve.
