Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON FORBES CLARK October 3, 1931 - August 10, 2003 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden death of Gordon Forbes Clark at the Selkirk General Hospital. Left to cherish Gords memory is his loving wife Marge; granddaughter Sarah; niece Shannon; nephew Brice; sisters-in-law, Beverly (Ron) and Brenda (Rudy) and daughter-in-law Betty (Arnie). He was predeceased by his dad George in 1972; his mom Nancy in 1996; brother Al in 1995; and his beloved son Terry on August 14, 1991. Cremation has taken place and at Gordons request no service will be held. Special thanks to Dr. Fuchs and nurses, Trudy, Val and Jamie. Flowers are gratefully declined. If so desired, donations may be made in Gords memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society. In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away, You suffered much in silence, You fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage, Your spirit did not bend, But still you kept on fighting Until the very end. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around you, And whispered, "Come to Me." So when we saw you sleeping So peaceful, free from pain, We could not wish you back, To suffer that again. You didnt deserve what you went through, So He took you home to rest. Gods garden must be beautiful, For He only takes the best. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
