BERYL ENID MADDEN (nee TAYLOR) On Thursday, August 7, 2003 at Killarney Tri-Lake Hospital, Beryl passed away at the age of 69. Beryl was born February 28, 1934 at Dunrea, MB, living there until she moved to Killarney to complete her High School, then on to Brandon to continue with her education then to Winnipeg to work, returning to Killarney in the 50s to work in the Canadian Bank of Commerce for a few years and then returning to Winnipeg where she continued her working years. In Winnipeg she met and married Patrick Madden, they moved back to Killarney in the late 80s and have lived there ever since. Beryl loved to play the piano, sing, do needle point and cook. Beryl is survived by her husband Patrick, their son Paul and daughter-in-law Sherri, two grandchildren, Jesse and Katelyn; her sister Beverly Martin and brother-in-law Roy; her aunt Beryl Vigneux and uncle Jack Dunlop; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Beryl was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Beth Taylor. Beryl will be greatly missed by friends and family for her quick wit and always a willing hand to help. The family would like to thank the doctors, home care workers, and the nurses at the Hospital and friends for all their help and kindnesses during these last months. Thank you all so very much. Funeral service will be held at Wheatland Chapel, Killarney on Wednesday, August 13 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
