Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWARREN DOUGLAS PETERSON Warren Douglas Peterson, aged 54, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2003 in the Palliative Care Ward of Riverview Health Centre following almost a lifelong illness. Born in Thunder Bay (Port Arthur), he was the son of the late Gus and Lily (Stokes) Peterson. Since moving to Winnipeg in the 1970s, he was employed as a programmer/analyst with Truserv Canada and its antecedents. He is survived by his brother Donald, sister-in-law Jeannette, niece Jennifer and nephew Colin of Dartmouth, NS; and brother Robert, sister-in-law Suzanne, niece Lorea (Dallas) Baker and nephew Trevor of Winnipeg (St. Vital). Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Garry Memorial Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Burial will take place in the family plot at Riverside Cemetery in Thunder Bay on Saturday, August 16. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 9Z9.
