JIM VLAHAKOS October 19, 1962 - August 9, 2003 With saddened hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Jimmy. Our precious Jimmy peacefully passed away in the morning on August 9, 2003 at the Health Sciences Centre. Jimmy was surrounded with loved ones before he began his journey with God. His soul is in peace and is being reunited with his father and brother. Jimmy touched our hearts in a manner that can not be expressed by words; he will be sadly missed by his mother Aliki Vlahakos; two sons, Terrance and Nicholas; sister Gene Vlahakos; brother George Vlahakos; uncle Gus Daminakos; aunt Panyatia Giana Koulias; cousin John Liuadaris; and Petrides family; and many other uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Prayers will be held Tuesday, August 12, at 7:00 p.m. in St. Demetrius Greek Orthodox Church. Funeral service, Wednesday, August 13 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Church, 2255 Grant Ave. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
