HOWARD COMBA Memorial services for Howard L. Comba of Hobbs, NM will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 14 at Stonewall United Church with a reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion. Burial will be at the R.C.M.P. Depot Cemetery in Regina, SK. Mr. Comba, 63, died August 5 in Hobbs. He was born September 10, 1939 in Chaput-Hughes, ON. He married Melba Kelly on April 9, 1975 in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Mr. Comba retired from the R.C.M.P. in 1990. He was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Hobbs, Southeastern New Mexico Genealogical Society, Masonic Lodge, Shriners, Khartum Temple, and the Provo Corps of the Shriners. He is survived by his wife of the home, Melba Comba; a son Kevin Comba of Winnipeg, MB; two daughters, Leanne Bowes of Winnipeg, and Sandy Goad of Hobbs; a brother Mervyn Comba of Casselberry, FL; three sisters, Beryl Roesler of Victoria, BC, Shirley Kelly of Kirkland Lake, ON, and Grace Campbell of Englehart, ON, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Randy Kelly of Brandon, MB. Memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
