MARINA CARIAGA DE LA CRUZ March 10, 1924 - August 4, 2003 Entered into her eternal rest on Monday, August 4, 2003 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 79 years, Marina Cariaga De La Cruz, dearly beloved wife of Bienvinido De La Cruz. Besides her loving husband Bienvinido, Marina leaves to cherish her memory her children: Marianita Pilapil and husband Ricardo (Bryan and Jamie), Rosida De La Cruz (Mark and John Paul), Carlito and wife Jessica (Belly and Carly, Rudy, and two sons, one daughter and numerous grandchildren; also one sister, numerous nieces, nephews in the Philippines; as well as many, many other relatives and friends in Canada and the Philippines. Lamay will be held on Thursday, August 14 and Friday, August 15, 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight (prayers at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 14) at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 16 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Roman Catholic Church, 818 Arlington St., Rev. Fr. Vicente L. Tungolh presiding. Interment will follow at Waverley Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express their sincere thanks, and appreciation to all the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for all their compassionate care and concern.
