ELIZABETH (BETTY) YARCHUK Elizabeth (Betty) Yarchuk passed away peacefully at the Fairview Personal Care Home on August 9, 2003. She will always be loved and missed by her husband Matthew (Matt) and her family. Leaving to forever cherish her memory are her husband Matt of 43 years; daughter Cindy (Robert) Thompson; and sons, Darryl (Tracy) Yarchuk and Wayne (Lori) Yarchuk. She is also survived by her mother Jennie Moore; brother Glen (Faye) Moore; and grandchildren, Breanna and Braden Thompson, Ryan, Colin and Kathryn Yarchuk; and some very special friends. Betty was predeceased by her father Charlie Moore. The family would like to thank the many people at Fairview Personal Care Home who gave such comfort and care during her stay with them. We would also like to thank the many friends and relatives who always took the time to visit or share a kind word. The children would also like to express their love and appreciation for Bettys husband Matthew for his commitment, dedication and constant care. Betty was born on December 23, 1933 in rural Saskatchewan and then lived most of her life in Brandon, MB. Prior to her illness, Bettys true love was spending time with family and caring for her children. She was a kind and loving person who lived her life with grace and dignity. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332 - 8th St., Brandon, MB. The very Rev. Robin Walker of St. Matthews Cathedral will officiate.
