HARRY ALBERT ALDRICH Harry passed away peacefully on Friday, August 15, 2003, at Grace Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born April 11, 1919 at Sarles, ND, U.S.A. and came to Canada in 1926 with his parents and family and settled in Ashern, MB where he spent most of his life working on the farm with his parents and brother and sisters. Later in life he came to Winnipeg in 1970 and worked at the Thor Foundry until he retired at age 65. In his retirement years he spent a lot of time travelling on day tours in Manitoba and took trips on the bus to the U.S.A. and also flew some by airplane in Canada. Harry is survived by his brother Walter (Jerry) sisters, Gertrude Capron, Gladys Brunet; sister-in-law Ethel Aldrich; also many nephews and nieces. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Grace Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 20 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Viewing will be one-half hour prior to service.
