Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT MARSHALL ANDREWS It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Robert Andrews, aged 70 years, of East Selkirk, on August 15, 2003 at the Selkirk General Hospital. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Alice; daughters, Karen of Stony Creek, ON and Debra (future son-in-law James) of Denver, CO; brother Edward (Mina) of Lethbridge; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Eveline (Eva) a brother Lorne; and an infant daughter Roberta. Bob was born and raised in East Selkirk where he assisted his father farming. He carried on with the family farm after the passing of his father. Besides farming he also worked at Browns Bread delivering bread and pastries. He was a member of St. Clements Municipal Council from 1979 to 1990 and was a school bus driver for Lord Selkirk School Division for 32 years, retiring in June of 1998. He was also a member of the I.O.F. Foresters. A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday, August 21 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6. Special thanks to Dr. Bodi, Dr. Nisbet, the nurses of the Emergency Room, especially Cheryl at the Selkirk General Hospital and to Orvil and Dulcie Atkinson.
