Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAURICE JOSEPH E. BRICK It is with deep sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Maurice on August 14, 2003. Maurice went to meet the Lord at the age of 66. Leaving to cherish his memory is his wife, Lorraine and his children, Joseph (Flo), Sharon (Darrel), David (Wendy), Ken (Toni), also his grandchildren, Marc, Ryan, Aaron, Jayden, Matthew, Christine and Jessica. His brothers, Roger, Raymond, Roland, Marcel and sister Cecile. Maurice was born in Notre Dame de Lourdes and at a young age moved with his parents on a dairy farm in Fort Whyte, MB. Maurice and his brother Marcel carried on with the family farm after the passing of their father. To this day Maurice loved farming and his cattle. He was a hockey manager for his sons hockey team as well as the Junior "B" Oak Bluff Raiders for several years. To his players and many friends he was called "Moe". Even with all the boys hockey he still found time for his daughters ringette games and tournaments. His enjoyment now was watching his grandchildren in their winter and summer sports, sometimes driving them to their practices or games. Always making sure snacks were packed. Maurice was active in 10 pin bowling for many years. Prayers will be said on Monday, August 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Garry Memorial Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, August 19 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Vital Parish Church,1629 Pembina Hwy.
