JEANNE MARGERY KIRKPATRICK Jeanne Margery Kirkpatrick died on August 13, 2003. She was predeceased by her son Bruce and husband William. Born in Northwich, England in 1934 she immigrated with her family to Winnipeg in 1975. She never lost her love for England and regularly visited the family cottage near the Yorkshire Dales. Shortly after coming to Canada she began volunteering at the Nearly New Shop, where she spent almost 25 years. She also worked part-time at Eatons for almost 20 years. When not working and raising her five children she spent much of her time reading and watching English television programs. There was no such thing as a bad English comedy to her. It was a guaranteed laugh. A self-proclaimed fun person, she remained young at heart until the end. She was another Mum who keeps the world going around and made you realize "all you need is love." Thank you to all the staff at the Grace Hospital who kept her comfortable for her last days.
