FRED TERECK On August 15, 2003 at McCreary, MB, Fred Tereck entered into rest at the age of 83 years. Fred was pre-deceased by three brothers, Steve, Bill, and Emil; sister Eileen James; also two sisters at a young age. Fred is survived by his wife Mary of 57 years; son Richard and wife Joan of McCreary; daughter Valerie Maciura and husband Barrie of Dauphin; five grandsons, Brad Tereck, Jeff Tereck and friend Tannis, Garey Tereck, Layne Maciura and friend Jennifer, and Blair Maciura and friend Krista; also two sisters, Nellie Shura and husband Steve of McCreary and Mary Puhacz of McCreary; and numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be offered Sunday, August 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Dobchuk Funeral Home, McCreary. Funeral service will be held Monday, August 18 at 2:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Nativity Roman Catholic Church, McCreary. Fr. Paul Tinguely will be officiating with interment to follow at the McCreary Catholic Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the McCreary/Alonsa Health Centre.
