HELEN URNIEZIUS It is with deep sadness and heavy heart that the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, Helen on August 15, 2003. She was truly the heartbeat of our family. Mom was born in Lithuania October 8, 1924. She was orphaned at an early age and separated from her three sisters when the Second World War broke out. Her greatest joy was when they were reunited in Lithuania in 1990 after 50 years. Helen was predeceased by her husband Vacys and her infant son Vitas. She leaves to mourn her son Ray (Susan), daughter Sonia (Stan), son Leonard (Cheryl) and her son Dan (Silvia) 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service to celebrate Helens life will be held on Tuesday, August 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A private family interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helens memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
