Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACK (JACOB EMIL) HAMRLIK It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jack Hamrlik on August 17, 2003. Jack was born on March 22, 1925, in Hodgson, MB. He married Helen Balan in 1950 and farmed in the Hodgson area until retiring. He enjoyed reading, wood cutting, going for airplane rides, telling jokes, the threshermans reunion, and still enjoyed helping his sons on the farm. Jack is survived by his children, Grant (Eileen) and grandchildren, Lana and Derek; Lynda (Johnny) Slavuta and grandchild Jayson (Nicki) and great-grandchild Jayden; Evan (Jolana) and grandchildren, Janaya and Jovan; Eric (Sadie) and grandchildren, Karmyn and Mark; Wendy (Ken) Klimchuk; and sisters, Lillian Thomas and Helen Sokulski. He was predeceased by his wife Helen; infant daughter Gail; his parents John and Elizabeth; brothers, George, John, Eddie, Albert and Joe; and sisters, Erma and Clara. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Philips Anglican Church, Hodgson, Wesley Barrett and John Harper officiating. Interment to follow at Hodgson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. Honorary pallbearers are Boyd Abas, Andrew Gulay, Allan Hodgson, Peter Klimchuk, Johnny Slavuta and Joe Waldner.
