FRANCES ROSE WINTHER Frances Winther, aged 77 years of Ostenfeld, MB, dearly beloved wife of Harry, passed away on August 16, 2003 at the Beausejour District Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 56 years; son Neil (Karen) daughters, Corinne (Robert) and Donna (Bob) grandchildren, Colin (Krista), Johnathon, Andrea and Stephanie, sister Stephanie Stoye (Ken). Frances worked beside Harry on the family farm for over 50 years. Her family, in particular her grandchildren were the primary focus of her love and attention. They spent many happy hours with her and grandpa on the farm. Frances was an exceptional cook and prepared many wonderful meals for her family through the years. She also took great pride in her flowers and garden. Frances was active in community activities and was very committed to the Ostenfeld Lutheran Church. She spent many hours teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School in addition to her extensive involvement with the ELW. She established and maintained many strong and caring friendships with her neighbours in Ostenfeld. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 20 at 2 p.m. at the Ostenfeld Lutheran Church, Ostenfeld, MB with interment to follow at the church cemetery. Pastor Albert Maier will be officiating.
