Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLINDSAY MARIE VOGEN Suddenly, on August 17, 2003 Lindsay Marie Vogen passed away in Winnipeg at age 21. Lindsay was predeceased by her stepgrandparents, Mel and Carol Buchan of Sault Ste. Marie, ON. She is survived by her mother Cathy Whitehead of Edmonton, AB; her father Blair Vogen and his wife Linda of West St. Paul, MB; and her sister Christy Vogen (Dave) of Brandon, MB. She is also survived by her grandparents, Jack and Marie Whitehead of Matlock, MB and Carl and Betty Vogen of East St. Paul, MB. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends too numerous to mention. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. Lindsay was born in Winnipeg, MB on August 27, 1981. She attended school in North Kildonan at Maple Leaf School and Chief Peguis Junior High, where she was an honours student. She attended her first two years of high school at Miles MacDonell Collegiate and completed her grade 12 in Spruce Grove, AB. She then completed a post-secondary computer office specialist program in Spruce Grove. Lindsay was initially employed with Fun Sun Tours in Edmonton and then moved back to Winnipeg in June of 2002 where she gained employment as an administrative assistant with a local real estate company until the time of her passing. Lindsay left behind many close friends in both Edmonton and Winnipeg. She was involved in Brownies as a young child. She took two years of cosmetology in high school and was always up on the latest styles. She loved spending time with her friends and family and was known as a social butterfly. Viewing for immediate family only, will be on Wednesday, August 20 at Glen Eden Funeral Home at 4477 Main St. with cremation to follow. Funeral services will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home on Thursday, August 21 at 2:00 p.m. with Winnipeg Police Service Chaplain Devon Clunis officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion located at 3600 DeVries Ave. (Henderson Highway at the perimeter). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lindsays memory to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. She was an angel from heaven who brought joy to so many lives, unfortunately she was taken from us far too soon. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
