WILLIAM SUDAK Peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital, William Sudak passed away on August 17, 2003 at age 78. William is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Christine; brother John from Toronto; sister Eva from Saskatoon; brother-in-law Danny Hauff (Edith) nieces and nephews, Gordon Diakow, Joyce Rust, Sandra, Karen, Elaine and Tim Hauff. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Mike and Joseph; sisters, Kay, Mary and Anne. William was born March 9, 1925 in Saskatoon and spent most of his childhood in Winnipeg. He joined the army and served in the Second World War from December 2, 1942 to March 4, 1946. He later worked for Perths Cleaners for a number of years and as an orderly at Deer Lodge Hospital until his retirement. William will always be remembered by his nieces and nephews as their loving uncle, especially Elaine, his godchild. He had many friends and was will liked by all. He will be greatly missed by his wife Chrissie and their dog Brandy. Many thanks to a special friend Ann and the St. Boniface Hospital staff on the fifth floor, section "A" for their support and care at this very difficult time. A memorial service celebrating Williams life will be held on Thursday, August 21, at 1:00 p.m. at the Springs of Living Water Church, on Lagimodiere Boulevard, Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6.
