Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAURICE JOSEPH MATHIAS MOUSSEAU Maurice Joseph Mathias Mousseau peacefully passed away at the age of 87 on August 16, 2003, at the Menno Intermediate Care Home in Abbotsford, BC. He leaves to mourn his wife Mae of 63 years; three daughters, Henriette Fillion (Marcel) of Abbotsford, Vivianne Courteau (Laurent) of Prince George, BC, Gisele Laurin (Gerald) of Coquitlam, BC; six grandchildren, Rachelle Robertson (Richard) of Campbell River, BC, Daniel Fillion (Carole) of Campbell River, Robert Fillion (Crystal) of Pampa, TX, Valerie Menzies (Aaron) of Fort Nelson, BC, Velinda Courteau (fiance Tony Pelligrino) of Prince George, David Bergeron of Abbotsford; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. He also leaves behind one brother Gerard Mousseau; one brother-in-law Theodore Roy; two sisters-in-law, Camillia Mousseau and Yvonne Mousseau, all of Winnipeg. Maurice was born June 4, 1916 in Aubigny, MB. He will be remembered as a loving family man with a particular tender and caring heart for children. He spent the last three months under compassionate care at Menno Home in Abbotsford. The family expresses sincere thanks and appreciation to the nurses and staff. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society will be great appreciated. Prayer service will be held on Wednesday, August 20 at 7:30 p.m. and Christian funeral service on Thursday, August 21 at 10:30 a.m. and will be officiated by Rev. Glenn Dion, both services at St. Anns Catholic Church, 33333 Mayfair Ave., Abbotsford. Funeral arrangements by Hendersons Fraser Valley Funeral Home. 604-854-5534.
