PAT LUCAS (nee BILESKI) Our beloved wife and mother, after a short illness, found peace on Sunday, August 17, 2003. Pat leaves to cherish her memory; her husband Ron of six years; her children, Corey (Shawna) and Christa (Gregg) stepchildren, Donna, Mandy and Darcy; granddaughter Kadee; her mom and dad, Walter and Helen Bileski; brothers, Bob (Cindy) and Dave (Lorraine) niece and nephews, Tyler, Mandee, Mitchell and Zachary. Pat was born in Winnipegosis, MB on March 31, 1956. Her fondest childhood memories were of growing up on the family farm. Pat married, had two children and later moved to Winnipeg. She worked in an office environment and progressed to become a service coordinator for large mechanical contractors. Pat met her true love in 1996 and started a new life. Three years later they bought her dream house where she enjoyed gardening, sewing and putting her personal touch in every room. Mom never got excited about cooking, but anyone who has ever sat at her dinner table would tell you she was one of the best. She especially enjoyed having everyone over for family get togethers. Her favourite flowers were roses and in her own backyard she grew some of the most beautiful assortments of her favourites. Even though she wont be here to see us through, we know shes smiling and watching over us. We love you Mom, we miss you and will forever be in our hearts. Many thanks to Dr. Harris and the staff at the Grace Hospital for all the excellent care and compassion mom received. Prayers will be held on Thursday, August 21 at 9:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, August 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Resurrection, Dauphin, MB with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Mitrat Michael Buyachok officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Dauphin. If friends so desire, donations in Pats memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, P.O.
