JEANANN CAROL ADAMS (WENTZ) It is with deep sadness that Hugh and Jeffrey announce the passing of their precious Jeanann Carol Adams (Wentz) on Monday, August 18, 2003. Predeceased by her father Earl, Jeanann leaves to mourn her passing her husband Hugh and her son and best pal Jeffrey; her mother Margaret Wentz; brothers, Mark (Karen) and Gary (Barb) brother-in-law John (Fern) and sister-in-law (May) nieces and nephews, Shannon, Kim, Shawn, Deha, Kenneth, Earl, Bill , Bob, Lorraine, Scot and Andrew; and great-nieces and nephews. Jeanann was born in Winnipeg on August 20, 1948 and lived in Norwood all of her life. In early years she was a member of Jobs Daughters, holding several offices. She also sang in the Girls Choir of Winnipeg. Jeanann loved curling and golf and spent many years enjoying both the sport and the friends that she made. She was employed for 22 years with Equitable Life of Canada and in 1979 became Branch Administrator. During this time she took several courses and she won the Howard E. Power Trophy for excellent management of the agency and customer service several times. She also obtained the designation Fellow, Life Management Institute. Until her passing she was employed by the Norwood Hotel working at the Front Desk Reception and as Administrator for the Canadian Association of Insurance Financial Advisors. Jeanann enjoyed volunteering for the Cancer Society and the MS Society. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 25 at the Norwood Hotel, 11:30 a.m. A gathering of family and friends will follow. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
