Date of Passing: Aug 21, 2003
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARNOLD STUART BREMNER After a brief illness, it is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Arnold Bremner on Thursday, August 21, 2003, at the Grace General Hospital, at the age of 69 years. Arnold is survived by his loving wife Karen; children, David (Colleen) and Darlene; grandchildren, Virginia, Darian and Jarek; brothers, Alex, Bill and Bruce; sister Myrtle; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all. Arnold was predeceased by his brother Vince in 2002. He worked for the City of Winnipeg and retired after 25 years. Fishing and working at a close friends farm was Arnolds enjoyment after retirement, as well as having friends and family drop in for a visit. Arnold spent countless hours in curling rinks, playing baseball, hunting and fishing. He instilled a strong love of these sports in many young people. He was a big man with a big heart. Arnolds funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 27 at 2:00 p.m. in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 5335 Portage Ave., Headingley, MB. Special thanks to Ken and Bonnie for all their assistance, as well as to the doctors, especially Dr. Lam and staff at the Grace General Hospital. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Arnolds memory may be made to the Grace General Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7, or to a charity of ones choice.
