JOSEPH ANDREW DEARMAN October 19, 1919 - August 21, 2003 Sadly on Thursday, August 21, 2003, Joseph Andrew Dearman passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 83. Left to mourn, his wife Dorothy of 56 years; sons, Wayne, Ray, Guy (Cathy) and daughter Joan (Richard) Walker; grandchildren, Robyn (Brad) Verot, Kirk, Terri, Richard (Tiffany) Ledbetter, Michael and Ashleigh; great-grandchildren, Darian and Taryn. Also surviving sister Minnie; brothers, Carl (Anna) and Don; as well as relatives and many friends. Joe was born in Winnipeg, and raised in West St. Paul. Joe was a full time mechanic and also had a milk transfer from 1945 to 1961. Joe then did mechanics for anyone throughout West St. Paul and Winnipeg. Joe loved to look after his yard, cutting grass and tinkering in the garden in his later years. But mostly he loved to sing and play his harmonica with his grandchildren. In 1984, his health started to decline and he became more of a homebody. He continued to work outside and in the garage, always wearing his cap. Joe enjoyed having company and visiting with family and friends, sharing stories and a laugh. Joe was a kind and loving man who will be missed by all. The family would like to thank the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital and especially the I.C.U. nurses. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Tuesday, August 26 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of ones choice. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
