RONALD JOHN GOWRYLUK 1937-2003 Ronald John Gowryluk peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 20 at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg at the age of 65 years. Leaving behind to cherish his memory is his wife Lynda, and his children, Melinda, Debbie (Kyle), and Dawn; grandchildren, Gerald, Ashley and Eric. He is also survived by two brothers, Gregory (Sharon) and Garry (Ruth), mother-in-law Eileen LaRoque, step-mother Stella, brother-in-law Dennis (Shirley), uncles, aunties and numerous nieces and nephews. Ron will also be missed by his special bud CoCo, his neighbours and friends that he shared many special times with. He was predeceased by his mother Kathleen, in 1973, and his father Michael, in 2002, father-in-law, Harold LaRoque in 1997. Ron was born in Selkirk, MB, on December 7, 1937, and enjoyed trying different ventures in life. He helped his Dad on the potato farm, worked for General Motors, was in the hotel business, and did long distance trucking for George Smith. His last place of employment before retiring was at Fort Ignition. Rons leisure activities were snowmobiling, assembling model cars and trucks, fishing, and spending time in his garden. The family would like to express their thanks to the Health Sciences Centre fifth floor for the care they provided. Funeral service will be held in the Holland Community Centre, Holland, MB on Tuesday, August 26 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Holland.
