KAY GURMAN It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Kay at her home on August 22, 2003. She will be sadly missed by her two sons, Rocky and Cory (Charlene) sisters, Rose Kearns and Lena Blake; brother Mike Malley; as well as all her family and friends - especially Sandra, her travelling, card playing, bumming around with sister-in-law and best friend. She was predeceased by her husband Henry Gurman, parents, John and Veronica Malley; sister Jean Kalansky; and brother Nick Malley. Kay was born in Gardenton, MB. She moved with her family to Winnipeg when she was 5 years old and remained here her entire life. She enjoyed working at the International Inn for over 20 years until retiring in 1991 to care for her husband until his passing in 1992. Kay spent her retirement years continuously surrounding herself with family and friends enjoying the things she loved most, including travelling, going to Bingo, playing cards, spending time at the lake, and especially baking and cooking up feasts for every time she deemed an occasion. Kay was a dear and wonderful woman who really knew how to celebrate life. She will be sadly missed by all those fortunate enough to know her. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Please dress casually. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kays memory to the Childrens Wish Foundation. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
