MARGARET McKAY December 7, 1921 - August 21, 2003 It is with sadness the family of Margaret McKay announce her passing on August 21, 2003 at the age of 82. She will be lovingly remembered by sons, Ken (Marcel), Jerry (Suzy), Bobby, Norman, Ron, Brian, Cliffie (Ann) and daughter Margaret Ann. She is survived by four brothers and their families, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Beatrice (Smith) and John Graham and one sister. A memorial service will be held at Atlantic Garden City United Church, corner of Arlington and Atlantic, on Monday, August 25 at 7:00 p.m. Juanita Smith and Rev. Doug Martindale will officiate, with Moms grandsons, Sean and Scott McKay, giving the eulogy. Interment will be at a later date in Brookside Cemetery. Mom grew up in Poplar Point/Woodlands. She lost her own mother at an early age. Mom was always there for her family of seven boys and one daughter. She tried to do the best she could for all of them and help them in any way she could. She enjoyed Bingo, and making jigsaw puzzles but the joy of her life were all her grandchildren. God must have seen the good in her to let her stay with us for 82 years. Her mother came to take her and she is at peace. She will live on in our memories and hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Atlantic Garden City United Church.
