JOSEPH ALBERT POMERLEAU Peacefully after a brief battle with cancer, Joseph Pomerleau, aged 62, passed away on August 20, 2003 at the Riverview Health Centre. Joseph will be sadly missed by his daughters, Joan (Sam) and grandchildren, Kyle, Kristen and Nicole; and Gail (Kevin) and granddaughter Ashley. He was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Celina. The family would like to thank the caring staff at the St. Boniface Hospital, Riverview Health Centre, Father Lavoie, Dr. Holder, Alex from Home Care and for the compassionate care shown to Joseph during his illness. Should friends so desire, a donation in memory of Joseph would be appreciated to further research into Asbestos Cancer c/o CancerCare Manitoba, ON1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, R3E 0V9. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 25 at 12:30 p.m., at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
