KENNETH BRYAN SIMPSON It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Kenneth Simpson on August 19, 2003 at the age of 70, beloved life-long partner of Helen Simpson. Survived by his loving devoted wife Helen (nee Lechelt) his five children, Carol, Donna (Jerry) of Winnipeg, MB; son Scott (Erna) of Lethbridge, AB; Debbie (Dean), Kay (Tom) of Vancouver, BC; seven grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews as well as many, many friends. He was predeceased by grandparents, Ben and Kathrine Simpson; mother Alvina; and daughter Lynn. Ken was born in Winnipeg MB, and was raised in Pilot Mound, MB, where he played many years of hockey. He resided most of his life in Surrey, BC, where he was employed as a graveloligist, before retiring to Pincher Creek, AB, where he enjoyed many music sessions making many friends. Ken was a long-standing member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Anyone who knew Ken for a minute or a lifetime will remember his quick wit, sense of humour and kind teasing. No service by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kens memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317-10th Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 2M7 or the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 6007-1A Street S.W., Calgary, AB T2H 0G5.
