Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) KOZUN Peacefully after a courageous fight with cancer, Bill passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2003 at the age of 73. Born and raised in Selkirk, he was predeceased by his parents, George and Mary. He is survived by his loving wife Fran; daughters, Gail, Deborah (Bert), Leleannec, Karen (Paul) Willms; grandchildren, Jocelyne, Luc, Nicolas and Stephen; brother John (Stella), brothers and sisters-in-law and many nephews and nieces. Bill worked for Manitoba Hydro for many years where he built many friendships that lasted long after he retired in 1989. He enjoyed his retirement years in Clandeboye and the surrounding area amongst family and friends of all ages. Bill was well known for his tireless commitment to family and community, terrific outlook on life, great humour and relentless teasing. He loved watching, coaching and competing in many sports. The family gives special thanks to the staff in the chemotherapy and emergency wards of Selkirk General Hospital for their attentive care and to Rev. Lynn Stevens for being there when we needed her most. A memorial service will be held at Clandeboye Amalgamated United Church on Tuesday, August 26 at 2:00 p.m. located on the corner of Highway 9 and Clandeboye Road. For those wanting to express their sympathy, a donation can be made to the Clandeboye Amalgamated United Church or charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
