Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLA T. LARSON Peacefully on Saturday, August 23, 2003 at the Grace General Hospital, Willa passed away at the age of 91. Willa was born in Missouri and was the second oldest sibling of William John and Audi Bell Kingsborough. Her family moved to Alberta on her 6th birthday in 1918 and then moved to Winnipeg in 1929. She married George Ross and during their marriage had four children, George of Vancouver, Floyd of Chilliwack, Joyce of Winnipeg and Shirley of Winnipeg. During her working years Willa was a proud member of Local 459 in the garment industry. She married again in 1949 to Elving Larson and spent many years living in West Kildonan. After Elvings death she moved to North Kildonan, then Fort Rouge to be closer to Joyce and Shirley. She then moved into Lions Manor where she spent eight happy years. Willa is survived by her four children, seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her seven brothers and sisters and one grandchild. Willa was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be truly missed. Her greatest joy in her entire life was spending time with her family and going on family vacations. The family extends a very special thank you to Carol and staff of Rimmer House at Lions Manor and also thanks to Wynonna at the Grace Hospital for her special way. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 27 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Viewing will take place one half hour prior to the service and a reception will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Willas memory to the Rimmer House at Lions Manor, 320 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2W6.
