WILLIAM (BILL) R. COLEMAN On August 24, 2003, with his loving family by his side, William Coleman passed away at Grace Hospital after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born October 14, 1929 in Brandon, MB to parents, Reg and Nan Coleman, Bill married Pat Magnacca in 1952 and we were blessed to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary last summer. Bill enjoyed a successful career in the insurance industry with Great-West Life in Brandon, Sudbury and Fort William and in Winnipeg, where he and Pat formed Patill Insurance Agencies in 1968. Bill had a passion for his wife, his children and grandchildren, golf, and music of all kinds. He enjoyed many happy times with family and friends at Clear Lake, Naples, FL, Mankato, MN, and at St. Charles Golf Club. He and Pat especially loved to travel to visit their family. He was a dedicated member of St. Andrews Anglican Church for 40 years. Predeceased by his parents and his two brothers, Jack and George, he is survived by his wife of nearly 51 years Pat, son Greg (Elaine) and children, Jordan, Janelle, and Travis; son Jeff (Penny), children, Jason and Scott; daughter Barbara Campbell (Bruce) and children, Jenna, Ainslie and Allison; daughter-in-law Brenda Coleman, and mother-in-law Grace Magnacca. Bill will be sorely missed. He was a devoted, caring, and thoughtful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His sense of humour was enjoyed by all who knew him. Special thanks to Dr. Alvin Schroeder and the caring staff of the third floor of Grace Hospital for their compassion and wonderful care. A memorial service will be held at St. Andrews Anglican Church, 2700 Portage Ave., Tuesday, August 26 at 3:00 p.m. with reception to follow in the parish hall. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations accepted with our thanks, to the Grace Hospital Foundation Hospice Project or St. Andrews Memorial Garden Fund. THOMSON Funeral Chapels - 669 Broadway - 783-7211
