Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID LEON DEMARE Beloved husband of Daniella, father of Deanna 7, Stijn 5, Dries 3, Kalyna 1, and an unborn child was killed at Hnausa Provincial Park where he was camping with his family on Friday, August 22, 2003 at 7:00 a.m. He is mourned by his parents, Paul and Doreen DeMare; his brother Douglas and wife Alison (Justin Robyn, and Sarah) sister Renee and husband Gordon (Syndey and Alexandra) sister Ramona and husband Cal (Riley, Sean, Emily) grandmother Victorine Cousin; father-in-law Dr. Lorne Reznowski; brother-in-law Tony and wife Olenka (Maksym) sister-in-law Tanya and husband Jeff (Jeffery, Mallory) brother-in-law Ted; sister-in-law Gabriella and husband Curtis (Avila, Xavier, Sasha) and a large extended family who loved him dearly. He has many friends who are devastated by this tragedy. David was born in St. Vital on April 28, 1965. He was a bright, happy talkative child who at age 4 walked into St. Vital Library and asked the librarian for books on dinosaurolgy. He graduated from the University of Manitoba, with a Masters of Economics. He was proud of his "Averbach Memorial Award" for economics. His special interests were the environment, fisheries, forests, hunting, gardening and bison ranching. He had a strong devotion to his faith. Pallbearers will be Vic Mollot, Ric Cousin, Laurie Cousin, Marcel Bertouille, Jerry Cousin, and Carey Pawlychka. Donations may be made to Victims of Violence, P.O. Box 20211 RPO Westwood, Winnipeg, MB R3K 2E6. Prayers 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at St. Vital Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at St. Vital Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Patrick Morand officiating. Interment St. Vital Cemetery.
