FRANCIS EDWARD BENNETT Francis Edward Bennett passed away peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital with his sister Mildred Mckinnon and her husband Gordon at his side on Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his sister Terry Myers of Kelowna and several nieces and nephews. Frank was born in Winnipeg on June 10, 1925. He lived for 18 years at Luther Home. As Frank was confined to a wheelchair, he truly enjoyed contributing his time to small duties and managing evening phone calls for Health Link. Everyone knew Frank and most everyone appreciated his lively and sometimes profane sense of humour. He recently moved to Vista Park Lodge. The family wishes to thank the staff of Vista Park Lodge and Luther Home for their concern and care. A private family service will be held in Assumption Cemetery.
