FLORENT CHARTIER Paisiblement, au Centre Tache, le samedi 23 aout 2003, entoure de sa famille, est decede Florent Chartier a lage de 87 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil son epouse de 56 ans Simone (Carriere), ainsi que ses sept enfants, Jean, Denis (Paulette), Marcel (Marni), Roland (Lynette), Lynne (Greg Alexander), Edmond (Eileen) et Normand (Michelle) douze petits-enfants; une soeur Lucille Roy; un frere Leopold (Florence) belles-soeurs, Elodie, Isabelle, Florence, Cecile Fillion et Dolores Timmerman. Fils dAlfred Chartier et dOctavie Laferriere, Florent est ne a Aubigny, MB ou il a demeure jusqua 1993 lorsquil demenagea a Winnipeg. La messe de la resurrection sera celebree par labbe Marcel Carrierre le mercredi 27 aout a leglise catholique St. Eugene, 1007 chemin St. Marys a 13h30. Plus tard, lurne cineraire sera deposee au cimetiere St. Boniface avec une ceremonie pour la famille immediate. Au lieu de fleurs, des dons a la Fondation du Centre Tache, 185 rue Despins, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2B3 seront apprecies. FLORENT CHARTIER Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Florent Chartier, aged 87, passed away August 23, 2003 at the Tache Centre. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Simone (Carriere) his seven children, Jean, Denis (Paulette), Marcel (Marni), Roland (Lynette), Lynne (Greg Alexander), Edmond (Eileen) and Normand (Michelle) 12 grandchildren; one sister Lucille Roy; one brother Leopold (Florence) sisters-in-law, Elodie, Isabelle, Florence, Cecile Fillion and Dolores Timmerman. Son of Alfred Chartier and Octavie (Laferriere), Florent was born in Aubigny, MB where he farmed until his move to Winnipeg in 1993. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, August 27 at Saint Eugene Roman Catholic Church, 1007 St. Marys Rd. at 1:30 p.m. with Fr. Marcel Carriere officiating. A private inurnment of Florents cremated remains will take place in the P.W. Lavack Columbarium at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tache Centre, 185 Despins St., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2B3 would be greatly appreciated. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
