GIULIO BUSCA February 12, 1920 - August 24, 2003 Peacefully, on Wednesday, August 24, 2003, Giulio joined his wife Iride who passed away June 24, 2003. Giulio will be sadly missed by his daughters, Patricia and Sonia and husband David; grandchildren Sean, Kathleen, Adam and Hannah. He will also be remembered by his family in Italy especially his three sisters, Amelia, Teresa and Noemi and his many friends in Winnipeg. Giulio immigrated to Winnipeg in 1956 and prepared the way for his wife and daughter Patricia to join him a year later. He was an honest, just and hard working man who always put his family first. His love of gardening and cooking nurtured us all and will be part of his legacy. His tenor voice will sing in our hearts forever. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave., with Rev. Fr. Joe Mroz, S.J. officiating. Entombment will follow in Queen Of Heaven Mausoleum, Assumption Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be from the Alpini Group of Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Giulios memory to St. Boniface Hospital and Research Foundation, in care of Patient Compassionate Fund, 409 Tache, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6.
