Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET IVY GARDNER Peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2003 with her family at her side, Margaret Gardner went home to her Lord. Margaret is survived by her daughter Valerie, sister Hilda Junod of British Columbia; granddaughters, Cheryl, Roberta (Marc), Donna (Andre) and great-grand-children, Melissa and Emmanuel. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and wonderful lifelong friends. She was predeceased by her husband Robert and son-in-law James. Margaret was born in the Weston area of Winnipeg on November 23, 1914, where she lived for more than 80 years. She met and married her husband Robert in 1939, and they settled on Elgin Avenue where they resided for over 50 years. Her life-style of freely giving of her time and many talents, especially that of music, to the Lord, and to her family, friends and her community around her was a witness of her faith in God, and for her love for Jesus Christ. A service of thanksgiving for Margarets life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 28 at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance, with Pastor Rob Dyer officiating. Margarets family wishes to give their heartfelt thanks for the kind and loving care of the Beausejour East Gate Lodge P.C.H. staff.
