DR. DOUGLAS ALLAN MILLER D.M.D. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Douglas Allan Miller, D.M.D., of 900 Fifth St. East, Fort Frances, ON, at the LaVerendrye General Hospital on August 2, 2003, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Doug was born on July 18, 1933 in Toronto. He was united in marriage to Frances Marilyn (Marnee) Innes on September 24, 1955. The marriage was blessed with a daughter Laura Lynne Miller. Doug was associated with the R.C.A.F. for 12 years as an Aircrew/Pilot, retiring with the rank of Flight Lieutenant. Doug then attended United College, University of Winnipeg in science. He graduated from the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Dental Medicine in 1965. He practiced with the Manitoba Department of Health and had private practices in Dryden, ON and Fort Frances, ON. Marnee and Doug retired in 1993 and spent the time in Fort Frances and at their camp at Bears Pass, ON. Doug has been buried in Orillia, ON in the St. Andrews - St. James Cemetery with many of his antecedents.
