JENS THRANE WEST April 18, 1926 - August 24, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend Jens Thrane West at 76 years of age. Jens you made us laugh and smile, not a day will go by that we wont think of you in some special way. Your memory will live on in your paintings and all of the lives that you touched so dearly with your heart. We hope that you are finally at peace with yourself, all of the pain and suffering has finally stopped. The strength you showed in your life and in your death will be something that all of us will always remember. Well picture you in the heavens up above smiling, driving your 67 meteor, waving goodbye! Goodbye Jens, well never forget you! Youll be sadly missed by Franco, Emily, Lucy, Dale, Robbie and Ryan. Thanks to all of the doctors and nurses at the Grace Hospital. Soft as a feather, your name touches my lips, my mind, my heart. Bittersweet feelings of love and loss fill me suddenly, Joy Ive found, is touched by sadness and emptiness without you, and yet I live. I breathe and go on, as best I can, Bravely. I dream of conversations and escapades. Though now just memories, memories of a smile, a look, a laugh, flood my mind. Oh how I wish things could be different, I thank God for letting me know you and for our time together. Like music, your spirit surrounds me. Bringing me up when my heart sinks. I thank God for you, My Angel. Our Dear Jens! Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, Friday, August 29 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mennonite Memorial Gardens.
