MARIE ANTOCHIW (nee YARISH) It is with great sadness that the family announces the untimely passing of our beloved Marie on August 29, 2003 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Marie was born on July 27, 1946 in Teulon and raised in Inwood, MB. Marie is survived by her husband Ken; her son Glen Loutit of Lockport; her mother Evelyn Yarish of Inwood; Kens sons, Chris (Jackie), granddaughter Paige of Selkirk, and Scott of Lockport. Her sisters, Elaine Yarish (Bob) of Los Angeles, Edith Gunn (Bruce) of Nelson, BC, Sandra Martin (Ted) of Husavick, Darlene Yarish (Garth) of Balmoral and brother Dave Yarish (Barb) of Inwood, as well as many nieces and nephews. Also Kens sisters, Joyce (Carl) Siedlecki of Winnipeg, Jean (Louis) Morin of Monominto, and her very special friend and neighbour Mildred. Marie was predeceased by her father Norman Yarish and stepfather John Johnson. Marie retired in May of this year from Freshwater Fish Marketing Corp. after 34 years of service. A memorial service will be held at the Inwood Hall, Inwood on Friday, September 5 at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Terry Throndson will officiate. Interment to follow at the Inwood Community Cemetery. MacKenzie Funeral Home of Teulon in care of arrangements.
