GEORGE DEARLE George Dearle, aged 77, of Port Alberni, BC, formerly of Winnipeg, MB, youngest son of Robert H. Dearle, died peacefully on August 26, 2003, after a battle with cancer. At his side was his loving wife Pat and daughter Linda. George is survived by his wife Pat; sons Robert, Danny (Gwenith), and Bill Harington; daughters Wendy (Stuart) Randell, Linda (Chris) Nordmarken and grandchildren. George is also survived by his sisters, Norah (Howard) Davidson of Minneapolis, MN, Edna (Lorne) Sigurdson of Surrey, BC, Doris (John) deRoos of Cloverdale, BC, Rowena (Norman) Butler of Winnipeg, MB and many nieces and nephews. George was preceeded in death by his mother and father; brother Robert; twin sisters Louise (Archie) Menzies and Elsie (Stuart) Kennedy, and nephew James Menzies of Carberry, MB. George spent 22 years in the Canadian Army with the P.P.C.L.I., serving overseas during the Second World War, and he was later employed with BC Government Public Services in Fisheries. We loved him, he will be greatly missed. Interment will be Wednesday, September 10 at 12:00 noon at the Field of Honour, Port Alberni Legion 169, 4680 Victoria Quay, Vancouver Island, BC, V9Y 7R5
