LENA "BIG GRANNY" DELARONDE (nee FERLAND) October 5, 1927 - August 26, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lena Delaronde, on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at St. Boniface Hospital where she quietly slipped away with her family by her side. Lena was predeceased by her parents, sisters, brothers and granddaughter. She is survived lovingly by Sonny (Terri), Leah (Gerard), Anita (Bill), Junior, Belinda (Doug), Joanne (Laurence) her brother George and 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, among many other family and friends. Lena was born and raised in Duck Bay, MB. She moved to Winnipeg in June of 1965 where she remained. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humour, her kindness to all and joy of music. Prayers and wake 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 28 at Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, 794 Ellice Ave. Funeral mass 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 29 at Kateri Tekakwitha Parish with Rev.
