JULIA FAILL (WHEWAY) (nee SAUNDERS) Suddenly, on Monday, August 25, 2003 Julia passed away at her residence at the age of 62 years. Julia (Jewel) is survived by her son David (Shawna) daughter Jacqui (Kelson) sister Linda (Karl) Leganchuk; niece Dawn (Gordon) Neufeldt; nephew Dean (Heather) Leganchuk. She was predeceased by her husband Graham. Julia was born in Brighton, England and came to Canada when she was five years old. Being an army brat she attended many schools but graduated from the Shilo High School. She retired from the Royal Bank after 25 years of service. Recently she was employed by Trans-X Trucking Limited. Julia enjoyed baseball, and playing cards with her family. She had a big heart, putting other people before herself. Julia will be missed and remembered by many special friends including Jeanette Kortzman and family, Jeanette Burgess and family, her special "adopted" grandchildren, Robyn and Jarid, friend and co-worker Carol Irvine. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 29 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Julias name to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
