Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID LLOYD HORNSHAW On the morning of August 26, 2003, David Lloyd died peacefully in his sleep after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife Bernice; sadly missed by Susan, Terri, Ralph, Alison; devoted grandsons, Michael, Andrew; three brothers; and one sister. David was born in Domain, MB in 1923. During the Second World War, he served with the Fort Garry Horse Artillery. On his return, worked at the University of Manitoba until his retirement. He will be remembered and missed by his many friends at the University and the Reh. Fit Centre where he was known as the "Muffin Man." He was a soldier, a painter, a manager, seamstress and baker, but most of all, he was a husband, a father, a brother, grandfather and friend. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, September 2, at 1:00 p.m. at Garry Memorial Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. The efforts and care by the many nurses and doctors at the Grace and Victoria Hospitals are greatly appreciated by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation in David Lloyds name to a charity of your choice.
